ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕಂಕಣ ತೊಟ್ಟು ಗಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ವೀರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ರಜೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಗಮಿಸುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ. ಆದರೆ ಕೋವಿಡ್19 ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿನ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬರುವವರಿಗೆ ತಡೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಚಲನೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಲು, ರಾಜ್ಯದ “ಸೇವಾಸಿಂಧು” ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲು ವಿಶೇಷ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಅವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಶಾಸಕ ಹರೀಶ್ ಪೂಂಜ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
