Mangaluru : ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಧರಿಸದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬೇಳೆ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರದ್ದು ಅವರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋದ ಬೈಕ್ ಸವಾರನೊಬ್ಬ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್ ಚಕ್ರದ ಅಡಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು(Mangaluru)ಬಳಿಯ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಹೌದು, ಕಾನ ಕುಳಾಯಿ ಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಧರಿಸದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ಸವಾರನೊಬ್ಬ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಭರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸ್ ಒಂದು ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಸಾವನಪ್ಪಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಡೆದಿದೆ. ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಕಾನ ನಿವಾಸಿ ರೆಮ್ಮಿ (38) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಕುಳಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ಯೂಶನ್‌ಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆತರಲೆಂದು ರೆಮ್ಮಿ ತನ್ನ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಧರಿಸದೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕುಳಾಯಿಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ಬಳಿ ವಾಹನಗಳ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರೆಮ್ಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ರೆಮ್ಮಿ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅತಿ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದಾಗ ಎದರುರಿನಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಿಟಿ ಬಸ್ ಢಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆಯಿತೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಪಘಾತದ ರಭಸಕ್ಕೆ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಎಸೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರೆಮ್ಮಿ ಗಂಭೀರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಿಸುವ ದಾರಿಮಧ್ಯೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
