ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೂಬೆ ಕೂರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು , ಕ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಗೇಟ್ ದುರಸ್ಥಿ ಮಾಡವುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗೆ ಐವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರುಪಾಯಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ. ವೈ. ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಜಲಾಶಯ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿದಿದ ಅವರು ಬಳಿಕ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಜಲಾಶಯಕ್ಜೆ ಕಳೆದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಚೀಪ್ ಇಂಜನೀಯರ್ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲು ಆಗದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗ ನೆಪ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜಲಾಶಯ ಕ್ಕೆ ಚೀಪ್ ಇಂಜನಿಯರ್ ಯಾಕೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಿಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಇವೆ . ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇದರಿಂದ ಲೋಪ ಆಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಜಲಾಶಯ ನಿರ್ವಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸಹ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾದ ಬೇಜಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನೀವು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೂಬೆ ಕೂರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜಕಾರಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ ಎಂದು ತೀರ್ವ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
ಜಲಾಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೀರು ಅಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಬಂದು ಜಲಾಶಯ ಭರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಖುಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಎರಡು ಬಲೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಗೇಟ್ ಮುರಿದು ನಿತ್ಯ ಲಕ್ಷ ಕ್ಯಸೆಕ್ ನೀರು ಹರಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ರೈತರು ಆತಂಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಐವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರುಪಾಯಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
