ಸುಳ್ಯ(Sulia )ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಉಬರಡ್ಕ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಡ್ಕ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕುತ್ತಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಎಂಬವರ ಪುತ್ರಿ 23 ವರ್ಷದ ನಮಿತಾ ನೇಣಿಗೆ ಶರಣಾದ ಯುವತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
ನಮಿತಾ ಅವರು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿಖರವಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಏನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾರಣ ನಿಗೂಢವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಮೃತರು ತಾಯಿ ಓರ್ವ ಸಹೋದರ ನಂದನ್ ರವರನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
