ಹಿಂದೂತ್ವದ ಫೈರ್ ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್’ (firebrand of Hindutva) ಅಂತಾನೇ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ವಿವಾದಿತ ನಾಯಕ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಂಸದ (Uttara Kannada former MP) ಅನಂತ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ (Ananth Kumar Hegde) ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ (BJP MLC) ಎನ್. ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್ (N. Ravikumar) ಕಟುವಾಗಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾಜಿ ಸಂಸದ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಚ್ಚ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದ ಆತನ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯು ಸಂವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ದೇಶದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಎಂದೇ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಎನ್.ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಗರದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ‘ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಅಭಿಯಾನ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ‘ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಆರ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಾತಿನ ಭರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಆಡಿತ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
